NVIDIA's long-debated DLSS 5 neural rendering technology officially launches tonight at 9:00 PM Pacific Time inside NBA 2K27, debuting 3D-Guided Neural Rendering on every GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU and on GeForce NOW Ultimate. The technology is exclusive to the current generation at launch, with Star Wars Zero Company, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and The Blood of Dawnwalker expected to follow.

2K has released NBA 2K27 Update 1.3 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam today, addressing Squad matchmaking breaks, Auction House hangs, a Fire & Conqueror story blocker and a large performance boost for the PC mod tool. The patch also tunes Shot Artist and Calibrated Takeover effectiveness plus Crew XP and REP earn rates based on community feedback.

Developer Visual Concepts has confirmed NBA 2K27 will run at 60 FPS in Performance Mode on Switch 2, matching the frame rate players already get on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

2K has shared the first deep-dive into NBA 2K27 after a 45-minute Preseason Breakdown livestream from the Inuit Dome in Los Angeles, revealing a co-ed City, a Badge Tokens economy in the Builder, co-op MyCareer via a Running Mate named Trace Miller, and MyNBA Legacy spanning 100 years of basketball history. The game launches on September 4.
