Firaxis and 2K have unveiled Civilization VII's next major free update, Arc of Tomorrow, which adds an Atomic Age from the 1950s to 2050s, alongside the franchise's first paid expansion, Earthrise, a space-race themed expansion also planned for 2027. Both were revealed during a PAX West 2026 panel.
