Xbox Game Pass Officially Says Goodbye to Cyberpunk 2077 and 9 More Games Today
Ten titles including Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Cells, Frostpunk 2 and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor leave Xbox Game Pass on September 15, with discounts available until removal.

Xbox Game Pass is losing ten titles on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 headlining the departures. The full removal list was originally published in the Xbox Wire Wave 1 announcement on September 1, with Microsoft's Community Lead Megan Spurr detailing every title arriving and leaving Game Pass at the start of September.
Ten games leave the subscription today across cloud, console and PC, with Frostpunk 2 dropping from the PC tier specifically and Cyberpunk 2077 itself only available on Cloud and Xbox Series X|S after today. The other departures are Commandos: Origins, Cricket 24, Dead Cells, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, Mullet Madjack, Spiritfarer, Superliminal and Train Sim World 5.
Xbox typically runs a 20 percent discount on each departing title through the final day on the service, giving subscribers one last chance to buy at the reduced price before the games exit the catalogue. Cyberpunk 2077 has been on Game Pass since 2025 and is being removed ahead of expected future updates from CD Projekt Red, while the loss of Frostpunk 2 represents a notable exit from the PC tier after its November 2024 launch.
Departures arrive alongside September's remaining Game Pass additions, which still include TCG Card Shop Simulator's 1.0 release on September 15 as well as RuneScape: Dragonwilds' full launch and the upcoming arrivals of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed and SpeedRunners 2's PC edition later in the month, all of which are listed in the same Xbox Wire Wave 1 announcement. Subscribers can find a complete list of currently available titles, additions and removals through the official Xbox Game Pass library page and the Wave 1 announcement post.
Microsoft has not commented publicly on which titles are expected to leave Xbox Game Pass in October as of publication; another removal wave is most likely scheduled for Tuesday, October 13 based on the service's historical monthly pattern.
