Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Wave 2 Adds Egging On, Vapor World, Blood Dungeon and Plague Tale Legacy

Xbox Game Pass is rolling out its second August 2026 wave today. The Xbox Wire post confirms a mix of day-one launches, returning favourites, and surprise additions landing across Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox handheld devices, and PC over the next two weeks.

Available now on Game Pass as of August 18:

• Egging On (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox handheld, PC) — A platformer about playing as a fragile egg escaping the henhouse, joining Game Pass Premium today before moving into Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Coming soon on Game Pass:

• Vapor World: Over the Mind (Cloud, Console, PC) — August 19. A narrative-driven souls-like platformer about a boy pulled into a twisted dream. Arrives as a Game Preview on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and on the wider Game Pass lineup with Premium the same day.
• Blood Dungeon (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC) — August 25. A 2D platformer survival game where players parkour through dungeons, kite monsters, collect blood, and spend earned bones at the Bone Shop to grow stronger. Day-one launch on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
• Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox handheld, PC) — August 27. The next chapter in the Plague Tale series lands day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The Xbox Wire post also flags a separate bonus game joining Game Pass Premium on August 19, a Cloud/Console/PC title arriving August 20, and a fourth addition across Cloud, Xbox handheld, and PC on August 25. Microsoft also confirms an in-game benefits bundle available to eligible Game Pass subscribers, plus an “In Case You Missed It” highlight from earlier in August.

The wave is rounded out by a reminder of titles already live in August, including a previously announced Game Pass Ultimate title on Cloud, Console, and PC (August 12) and additional Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC additions on August 25 across all Game Pass tiers.

Games leaving Game Pass later this month include titles rotating out on August 31 and September 6. Microsoft is urging subscribers to grab any discounts on outgoing games before the doors close.
