Stellar Blade: Complete Edition Drops Fresh Nintendo Switch 2 Trailer, Still Locked for 2026

Shift Up has rolled out a fresh look at Stellar Blade: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. The Korean studio published an “UNCUT Action Trailer” on its official YouTube channel in the early hours of August 24, 2026, giving players their first extended look at how the post-apocalyptic action game is shaping up on Nintendo’s new hardware.

The trailer — uploaded to the SHIFT UP Official Channel and picked up quickly by Nintendo Everything — shows protagonist EVE moving through the ruined Earth environments that defined the PS5 and PC original, this time rendered for Switch 2. According to the description posted with the trailer, the Complete Edition will support Joy-Con 2 motion controls for in-game activities, adding a layer of physical input to moments away from the game’s signature sword combat.

Stellar Blade: Complete Edition bundles the base game together with previously released DLC content. The package includes the main story campaign in which EVE returns from a space Colony to reclaim Earth from the Naytiba, the fast, combo-heavy melee combat, and the boss encounters that anchored the 2024 PS5 release and its later PC port. Shift Up has not announced a firm release date inside 2026 — the studio is still pointing to a launch window later in the year, with Nintendo’s official product listing not yet live.

The Switch 2 reveal comes as Stellar Blade continues its multi-platform rollout. The PC version, developed in partnership with SHIFT UP, launched earlier and remains available on Steam, while the original PS5 release is still on the PlayStation Store. A Switch 2 port has been part of the wider conversation around the console since launch, and today’s trailer is the clearest signal yet that the team is closing in on a final release.
