PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Crossover With Jujutsu Kaisen Launches September 10 on PC and September 17 on Console

KRAFTON has officially announced a limited-time collaboration between PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and the anime franchise JUJUTSU KAISEN, running on PC from September 10 through October 14 and on console from September 17 through October 22. The crossover was confirmed today through a KRAFTON press release and an in-depth post on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS news page.

The collaboration places Jujutsu Kaisen into regular PUBG gameplay rather than locking it behind a special mode. Erangel has been reworked with themed warehouse districts, life-size Jujutsu Kaisen character standees and photo spots, billboard re-skins, Jujutsu Kaisen vending machines that dispense boosts and healing items, and matching Care Package and airplane makeovers across every map. New thematic buildings and warehouses have also been added on Erangel.

A new ability mechanic, Domain Expansion: Void, has been added to the live build. The effect triggers within a fixed radius around a Satoru Gojo statue for 15 seconds before vanishing. Players will be able to chase new Progressive weapon skins and costume sets through the Jujutsu Kaisen Workshop in the in-game Supply Bay, using Jujutsu Kaisen Cargo Tickets or G-Coin to roll for them and earn bonus rewards like Tokens and the Character Set Selection Ticket as they open more crates. KRAFTON notes that the JUJUTSU KAISEN Cargo Ticket will only be available through Special Crafting until October 14 on PC and October 22 on console.

The launch lines up with the rollout of Update 43.1, which is set to rebalance LMGs in the same patch window. The press release frames the partnership as part of PUBG's ninth-anniversary push, pointing to 1.3 million peak concurrent users reached in March 2026 as the franchise continues to expand its global IP collaborations.
