PlayStation Reveals Two Limited-Edition Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense Controllers for November 19, Pre-Orders Open September 10

PlayStation has lifted the curtain on two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers themed around Grand Theft Auto VI, with both launching on November 19 alongside the game and pre-orders opening September 10 at 10:00am local time. Sony shared the first look during today's State of Play broadcast.

The two controllers are the DualSense Wireless Controller - Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and the DualSense Wireless Controller - Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition, and Sony says each design "captures the essence of Vice City, from bright days along the coast to vibrant city nights." Both editions share a shimmering, color-shifting finish that blends Vice City sunset hues with neon-light glow, custom palm tree details moulded directly into the controller shell, and official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.

The White Limited Edition is positioned around Vice City at daybreak - "from its white sands and pastel skies to all its laid-back glamour" - and will be available in limited quantities globally through direct.playstation.com and at participating retailers. The Black Limited Edition, framed around the city's nightlife, will be available in limited quantities exclusively through direct.playstation.com where the service operates, and through select retailers in other regions.

Both controllers carry a recommended retail price of $84.99 USD / ¥12,480 (including tax) / €84.99 / £74.99. Pre-orders open on September 10 at 7:00am PT / 10:00am ET in the U.S. and at 10:00am local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with the order window running through direct.playstation.com. In Portugal, pre-orders go through the playstation.com store. PlayStation Direct pre-orders are eligible for free launch-day delivery.

Sony is also leaning on the controller to showcase how Grand Theft Auto VI plays on PS5. The blog post reiterates that the DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers respond directly to action in the game, with the controller providing "dynamic resistance" tailored to Jason and Lucia's activities. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with PC versions following later.
