Escape from Tarkov Patch 1.1.5.0 Goes Live September 8 With Lighthouse Rework and Ranked Leagues

Battlestate Games will install patch 1.1.5.0 for Escape from Tarkov on September 8 starting at 8:00 AM BST, kicking off a planned 5–7 hour server downtime. The update brings the long-promised Lighthouse map rework, a rework of the Lightkeeper quest chain, and the studio's new ranked Leagues system.

Escape from Tarkov Patch 1.1.5.0 Goes Live September 8 With Lighthouse Rework and Ranked Leagues

Battlestate Games has locked the installation window for Escape from Tarkov patch 1.1.5.0, confirming that servers will go down on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 8:00 AM BST (3:00 AM EDT) for a planned five-to-seven-hour deployment, with the window extendable if needed. The studio announced the schedule in a post on the official Escape from Tarkov social channels on the evening of September 7, and the patch is one of the most consequential drops of the Kord Breach season so far.

The headline change is the long-awaited Lighthouse map rework. Battlestate has already previewed the changes in a series of developer posts: the Rogues' base is moving from the water treatment plant to the chalet area, which becomes a fortified position with surrounding observation posts. A makeshift UN checkpoint will sit on the central stretch of the main road to give players cover in a previously exposed killzone, new points of interest such as Rogue caches, abandoned outposts and observation posts are scattered around the map, and an underground route beneath the cliffs adds a new traversal option. Lighthouse also becomes the third location in the game with a BTR route, running along the main road through the village and the water treatment plant, and all landmines inside the playable area are being removed except those that restrict the playable area or block access to the Lightkeeper peninsula. The studio has also rebalanced PMC spawns by adding cliffs and vegetation to give players more cover at the start of a raid, and changed Rogue AI so USEC and BEAR PMCs are both fired on on sight.

The second major piece of 1.1.5.0 is the rework of the Lightkeeper quest chain, which has been a progression wall for many players since the Kord Breach season opened. Battlestate has said the goal is to make the path to Lightkeeper more accessible without removing the late-game content gated behind it, and that the changes will affect both the quest objectives and how Lightkeeper interacts with the broader trader network.

The third pillar is the ranked Leagues system, which Battlestate has been teasing throughout August. The system, as outlined by studio head Nikita Buyanov, groups players into weekly cohorts of fifty seasonal characters who compete for experience, climbing through seven ranks — Rookie, Survivor, Hardened, Relentless, Reborn, Initiate and Conductor. Reaching Relentless unlocks a Hideout skin as the first of six planned seasonal rewards, with the others tied to the higher tiers. Buyanov has framed Leagues as a recurring seasonal layer on top of the regular wipe cycle, designed to give every player a fresh competition track every week.

The Kord Breach season, which launched with patch 1.1.0.0 on August 3, runs through early December, and patch 1.1.5.0 is the season's biggest content milestone to date. Battlestate has already published a preliminary roadmap for the rest of 2026, with the next major content patch scheduled for October and the Season 2 launch pegged for December alongside the new End of the Line location, a new boss called Povodyr, ally healing with a knockdown and recovery system, first-person magazine loading animations, gear-preset containers and a Unity 6 engine upgrade.

Escape from Tarkov is available exclusively through Battlestate Games' own launcher on PC. The studio has not announced console versions of the game.

The installation schedule and the full Lighthouse rework notes were posted on the official Escape from Tarkov news page and the studio's social channels on September 7, 2026, ahead of the September 8 deployment.
