Team Jade has launched its second-anniversary season for the free-to-play shooter Delta Force, bringing Support Operator Rover, a rework of the Layali Grove extraction map, a brand-new urban Warfare map called The Mog, and a Fishing mini-mode across PC, mobile, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Delta Force Season 'Reorientation' Goes Live September 8 With New Operator Rover, Layali Grove 2.0, and The Mog Warfare Map

Team Jade's free-to-play tactical shooter Delta Force has rolled out its 2nd-anniversary content season worldwide. The update, branded Season "Reorientation," went live on September 8 across PC, mobile, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a new Support operator, a substantial rework of the Operations extraction map Layali Grove, an entirely new urban Warfare map, and a fishing mini-mode that lets players take a break from the gunplay.

According to the official Delta Force version update post, Reorientation is the studio's first anniversary-season chapter. The patch is being delivered as a no-downtime update, so players do not need to wait through a server boot. The previous season, "Meltdown," ended on September 7.

The new Support operator is Rowan Walsh, codename Rover, who fights alongside a military working dog named Clover. Team Jade's Steam news announcement frames the duo with the line "Rover heals from afar. Clover handles the chase." Rover's kit revolves around a Dart Rifle that fires healing mists for allies while chipping away at enemy max HP, an Irritant Smoke Grenade that forces targets inside the cloud to cough, and a Guard Drive mechanic that lets Clover track and mark enemies hit by his gadgets. Rover is free on the Season 11 Battle Pass track.

The headline Operations change is Layali Grove 2.0. The map adds new zones — including Serenity Bay, North Slope Caves, and the Haavk Underground Dock — and fully reworks the waterways that connect them. Jet Skis and assault boats are now part of the rotation, giving players new traversal options between objectives. A new flagship task, "Bounty: Wave Breaker," puts squads in charge of stealing and escorting an assault boat to extraction. Team Jade's Garena news post frames the rework around "three mysterious veterans [who] have arrived with their fishing rods, harmonicas, and stories," a narrative lead-in to the new Fishing mode.

Fishing itself unlocks at Operations Level 17, after players meet Joe Reed in Layali Grove — Easy. Three maps support the activity: Zero Dam, Layali Grove, and AZ3, all on Easy difficulty. Players can customize rods through the EDC Tool Kit, choose between a Float Fishing Rod and a Lure Rod, and level a four-tier Fishing Certification (Advanced, Veteran, Master, Grandmaster) by catching and assessing fish at Joe Reed. Fish are recorded in a permanent Gallery regardless of whether extraction succeeds.

Warfare gets its own headline addition: The Mog, a dense urban map inspired by the Battle of Mogadishu. Combat is built around close-quarters street pushes, push-cart tug-of-war objectives, and UH-60 Black Hawk suppressive air support. The map also ships with a PC visual upgrade for players whose rigs can take it, and a Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) pass for consoles. Team Jade says The Mog "brings the iconic setting of Black Hawk Down to life" in a way the previous Warfare roster never did.

The Season 11 Battle Pass, branded Hackclaw-Netrunner, runs from September 8 through November 9. Rover unlocks on the free track, while premium tiers add the Hackclaw-Netrunner operator skin, the Netrunner K416 and Horoscope Series weapon appearances, and the Netrunner LAV-AA vehicle skin. The 2nd Anniversary Celebration event runs in parallel and adds the AUG — Golden New Year appearance, plus a full set of Avatar, Charm, Calling Card, and Spray Paint cosmetics tied to the milestone.

Polaris Patrol, the next boss-mode chapter, is scheduled for October 16, not September 8. Players who want to play as Security Director Desmoulins or his Adjutant — each with unique abilities, performance rankings, and red-quality collectibles — will have to wait for that mid-season drop.

Two smaller but consequential pieces round out the patch. Space City's Black Chamber and Buoyancy Lab now feature randomized switch extraction locations, and a new one-way elevator through Central Garden opens another planning route. A new 1v1 practice mode with room codes lets players test loadouts and weapon handling without queueing into live matches.

Delta Force is developed by Team Jade, a division of TiMi Studio Group, and is free to play on Steam, the App Store, Google Play, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Season "Reorientation" is now live in all regions.
