ARC Raiders Update 1.43.0 Adds Roamer Set and Launches Phantom Targets Event With Free Anomalia Outfit Reward

Embark Studios has rolled out ARC Raiders update 1.43.0, introducing the Roamer Set in the store and launching the Phantom Targets event — a limited-time hunt for glitched Wasps that unlocks the Anomalia Outfit, the Finger Guns Wave emote, the Trashpile Bag and Raider Tokens through September 6.

ARC Raiders Update 1.43.0 Adds Roamer Set and Launches Phantom Targets Event With Free Anomalia Outfit Reward

ARC Raiders update 1.43.0 is now live on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a fresh store set and a new limited-time event that asks Raiders to track down malfunctioning ARC Wasps in exchange for an exclusive cosmetic reward.

Per the official Store Update 1.43.0 announcement posted to the ARC Raiders Steam News page, patch 1.43.0 introduces the heavy-duty Roamer Set to the in-game store and requires a full client restart to apply. Alongside the new set, the Phantom Targets event has gone live and runs through September 6. The event picks up the investigation of the character Shani into "the strange ARC behavior," and tasks Raiders with hunting down Wasps exhibiting erratic movement and carrying glitched technology.

Players who participate in the investigation can unlock the Anomalia Outfit, the Finger Guns Wave emote, a Trashpile Bag and Raider Tokens. Embark describes the outfit as a reward for contributing to the research effort, framing the cosmetic as a way to dress "appropriately dripped up for what's on the horizon."

The same update tightens Embark's anti-cheat stance. Going forward, linked accounts are being treated as a single enforcement surface: if anyone using the account — with or without the owner's permission — is caught cheating, the account itself can be banned even when the legitimate owner did not break the rules. Embark recommends securing the account through the relevant login provider (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Epic) with a unique password, two-factor authentication and no shared credentials.

ARC Raiders' developer is also on the Gamescom show floor in Cologne this week. Embark is running a stand at Gamescom 2026, where attendees can pick up merchandise and additional free content during the August 26–30 run. The event sits alongside the studio's broader live-service roadmap for ARC Raiders, which includes the Frozen Trail expansion landing October 8.
