Another Eden Begins Demo Launches With Six Chapters and Save Transfer Ahead of September 17 Release

Wright Flyer Studios and Studio Prisma launched the Another Eden Begins demo today, September 2, 2026, at 15:00 UTC. The playable build covers the first six chapters of the time-traveling RPG and lets players carry their save data over to the full game, which is scheduled to release on September 17 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Studio Prisma confirmed the demo launch on its official X account, posting the final trailer alongside details on save transfer. The demo drops players into the Kingdom of Miglance in 300 AD, where the hero Aldo begins a journey that spans antiquity, the present, and a ruined future. Players can explore freely between the three eras, recruit party members from across time, and sample the command-based battle system that the studio has built around party synergy and the Another Force gauge.

The full release will ship with New Game+ support, additional story branches, and more than ten different endings tied to player decisions. Yasunori Mitsuda, best known for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Xenogears, composed the main theme. Early bird bonuses include a serial code for the Encounter Ramiu ticket and Aldo and Feinne outfits, redeemable until September 16, 2027, on the related mobile and PC title Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space.

Another Eden Begins is directed and written by Masato Kato, the scenario designer behind Chrono Trigger and Xenogears, and is positioned as a console and PC reimagining of the long-running Another Eden mobile RPG. The English official site confirms that the game is rated TEEN by the ESRB and that pre-orders are now live on the Nintendo eShop for both Switch editions, with Steam pre-orders open as well.
